“When I got engaged in May, the feat of planning a wedding seemed so overwhelming to me, but the one thing that was a no-brainer was that I would hire Better Image Photography to do my pictures! My good friend Michelle had used them for her wedding, and I was the Maid of Honor, so I knew that not only did Scott Painter take fantastic pictures, but that he was really easy to work with, and his rates were very reasonable! My 2 favorite things about my wedding pictures, and Better Image Photography, is that Scott captured fantastic shots when I didn’t even know he was there, and the shots are creative, and not the typical cheesy “posed” pictures! In fact, newly engaged friends of ours that were at our reception, booked Better Image the following week because they witnessed Scott getting alll of the shots that were important to them too!
We were married at Church By The Side of the Road in Rockton, IL, and my biggest concern with that venue was the stained glass window behind the altar….Yes, it is beautiful, but I was afraid the light coming through would make it hard to get nice ceremony pictures….nope, that wasn’t a problem for Scott! They turned out great!
Better Image makes choosing the pics for your wedding album insanely easy, which is something I was really worried about, because I am BAD at making decisions like that. They design an organized layout with the “best pics” from the day, which is ready a few days after your wedding, and it is so exciting to see! I barely made any changes to it, because it was pretty much exactly what I would have chosen!
One more thing that I most appreciate about Scott and Better Image Photography is how truly easy they make the entire planning, and ordering process. To say I was a procrastinating bride is putting it pretty lightly….Scott was so patient and helpful, and I thank him for putting up with me!
